An entrepreneur from the age of 7 who began selling garden seeds door to door, Carl Francis soon was directing successful political campaigns, raising money for non-profits, getting press exposure, and even providing marketing services to businesses and non-profits – all during his junior and senior high school years. Throughout college, he continued to earn money, help elect candidates, and support worthy causes using his marketing savvy.
After graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University, Carl began to lead political and public policy campaigns and advise both startup and established companies in marketing and growth. His firm was an early pioneer in communicating many critical issues – including the emerging open-space movement and other environmental, historic preservation, and downtown revitalization issues.
Today, many of the matters his firm deals with involve resolution of multi-disciplinary strategic challenges.
He has served as a Board Member and Adviser to more than 25 non-profit institutions and corporations.
Carl has also invented a series of strategic tools for leaders named Enactix – including Reality Mapping, Progress Lines, Market Presence 360, and the One Hand Plan.
